This season two of my colleagues — Steve Rivera of GOAZCATS.com and Anthony Gimino of TucsonNewsNow.com — and I will pick the outcomes of Pac-12 games. Odds listed are of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas. …

Rivera continued his scorching hot picks while I kept pace, each of us with 5-1 records against the spread last week. Gimino went 4-2 with the setbacks including USC failing to cover the 20-point spread against Arizona and Oregon State not staying within 16.5 points of UCLA.

All together, 14-4 against the spread. Rivera is 16-4-2 in the last four weeks. We are a combined 29 games above .500. Now on to tonight’s game — USC at Colorado.

USC (6-3, 4-2) AT
COLORADO (4-6, 1-5)

6 p.m., ESPN2

Pointspread: USC by 16.5 points

— Line has moved from USC being a 14.5-point favorite to 16.5 points now.

— The Trojans bring a three-game winning streak to Colorado tonight. The temperature at kickoff is expected to be a few degrees above freezing.

— The Trojans are 11-8-1 in cold conditions (around freezing). The coldest game USC has played in was 20 degrees at Notre Dame in 1957. In the game at Folsom Field in 2013, the temperature was only 29 degrees. The Trojans rolled to a 47-29 win in which they had 449 total yards.

— Colorado is 0-9 against the Trojans. The Buffaloes have been outscored 195-80 by USC since joining the conference in 2011.

— USC QB Cody Kessler threw seven TD passes against Colorado last season.

— USC interim head coach Clay Helton has gone 3-1 since taking over for Steve Sarkisian. Colorado has dropped two straight and needs to win out to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2007.

— Like Colorado, USC has never played on Friday the 13th. The Trojans haven’t really played much on Fridays, either, going 4-0 since `90. The Buffs are 11-19 on Fridays.

Southern Cal is 8-3 SU in its last 11 games
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Southern Cal’s last 6 games
Southern Cal is 9-4 SU in its last 13 games on the road
The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Southern Cal’s last 7 games on the road
Colorado is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games
Colorado is 1-5 SU in its last 6 games
Colorado is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games at home
Colorado is 2-7 SU in its last 9 games at home

My pick: USC will win but Colorado will cover

Steve Rivera’s pick: USC will win and cover

Anthony Gimino’s pick: USC will win and cover
