[tps_title]Limit the turnovers[/tps_title]
[tps_header][/tps_header]
On the road, in a tough environment, the worst-case scenario is for Arizona to become unglued with its propensity for turnovers this season.
The Wildcats already have 99 turnovers to go with 101 assists. Arizona’s five primary guards — Kadeem Allen, Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Gabe York, Allonzo Trier and Elliott Pitts — combine for 81 assists and 63 turnovers. That is too close of a ratio for players who should have above-average ball-handling and passing skills.
Arizona’s shooting guards are especially prone to turnovers with Trier, York and Pitts combining for 29 assists with 39 turnovers with the young Trier the biggest culprit (four assists and 15 turnovers).
If the Wildcats can stick to Sean Miller’s goal of only 10 to 12 turnovers, they will be in the hunt for a victory. They average 14.1 a game.
