Arizona senior guard Kadeem Allen led a group of touring Pac-12 players with 15 points in a 92-83 loss to the Australian National Team early Tuesday morning.

Allen logged the most playing time for Mike Montgomery’s team (24 minutes, 37 seconds) and scored his points on 5 of 14 shooting from the field, including 2 of 4 from three-point range. He made all three of his free throw attempts and also finished with five rebounds.

Fellow Arizona player Chance Comanche did not score but pulled down two rebounds in 9 minutes of action.

San Antonio Spurs point guard Patty Mills and Detroit Pistons center Aron Baynes (formerly of Washington State) helped Australia’s Boomers begin their fine-tuning for the Olympics with the victory. The teams play again Thursday.

The Boomers team for next month’s Rio de Janeiro Games was announced Monday and planned two games against the Pac-12 team before leaving Australia. Matthew Dellavedova missed Tuesday’s game after failing to get clearance from the NBA but is expected to play in Thursday’s game in Melbourne.

Baynes led the Australians with 28 points and nine rebounds. Mills scored 15 points, including back-to-back three pointers to give Australia momentum in the second quarter.
