As you can see, the number of teams from Southern Arizona with dominant winning records drops off dramatically near the bottom of the top ten of my weekly Tucson Top Twenty. Rincon/University breaks into the ranking with a losing record but they deserve to be there.
Top-ranked Cienega will move to 8-0 next Friday with a game against Buena (0-7) scheduled. It will be the first time the Bobcats will open up undefeated since the 13-1 2011 squad.
If Sabino (6-1, 4-0) beats Sahuarita (2-5, 1-2) next Friday they will be 3A South Region champs.
