Old Pueblo Rugby Football Club has its “Engage” charity rugby clinic on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. to noon. It will be held in Rillito Park.
The Club will be hosting approximately 50 mentors/kids from Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tucson at Rillito Park. The clinic will primarily involve minimal contact (two hand touch) skills and games. Each child will receive an athletic kit including a bag, rugby ball and water bottle and everyone will get a T-shirt. Because rugby simply requires a patch of land and a ball, this will allow the kids to stay active and share the games they have learned with their friends. We hope to have more of these clinics in the future.
