Local eighth-grader Breanna “Breezy” Hayward will be in Eugene, Oregon next week for the Oregon Ducks elite softball prospect camp. The trip will also be her unofficial visit to the school.
A shortstop prospect from the 14U AZ Impact Gold team, Hayward is also invited to the Oklahoma and Arizona camps along with visits to Washington and Arizona State.
In addition, Hayward is scheduled to play in the NFL national flag tournament in Florida for the Tucson Turf 14U all girls team.
Hayward will be playing softball for Cienega next year.
