First-Team All-Southern Arizona selection Daniel Peabody announced his commitment to play for New Mexico.
A 6-2, 220 TE/DE for Ironwood Ridge, Peabody collected 346 through the air and 302 yards on the ground with seven touchdowns. He also recorded 28 tackles and four sacks.
“My family is happy, they just wanted me to make the decision that would make me happiest and me and my family both felt New Mexico was the best choice for me,” Peabody said.
“It’s also nice because it’s near to home only a six-hour drive they can still be relatively involved and see all my games.”
