Arizona freshman Lauri Markkanen is one of the 15 finalists for the John R. Wooden Award, it was announced Saturday.
The Pac-12 leads the way with four candidates; the others are UCLA freshman point guard Lonzo Ball, Washington freshman point guard Markelle Fultz and Oregon junior forward Dillon Brooks.
Voting, from nearly 1,000 media members, will take play between March 13 and March 20.
The 10-player Wooden Award All-America team will be announced March 27th on ESPN.
