The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, which recently sang the national anthem at a Texas Rangers game during a 12-day tour of Texas (see below), appeared on KGUN9’s “The Morning Blend” on Thursday.

Five boys from the touring chorus talked with host Alex Steiniger about their involvement with the chorus, their travel around the world and the organization’s “80 for 80” fundraising challenge.

At the end, they sing Leonard Cohen’s “Hellelujah.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: AllSportsTucson.com is dedicated to covering local youth sports, and we’re also proud to be able to shine a spotlight on another kind of team — the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. We will occasionally write about the chorus, a local tradition that is closing in on its 80th anniversary in 2019. For enrollment and other information, check out their Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus’ website.
