Cienega High School senior forward Lauren Green was offered a scholarship today by Long Beach State and New Mexico State after she and the Tucson Rattlers concluded their second AAU tournament in the last week.
Green is the second Tucson Rattlers player in the last week to be offered a scholarship. Natalie Bartle, a former Ironwood Ridge High School guard who will play for Negaunee (Mich.) High School as a senior, was offered a scholarship by Northern Michigan earlier this week.
Their teammate Kiya Dorroh, an incoming freshman guard at Tanque Verde High School, has been offered a scholarship by Arizona, ASU and Texas Rio Grande Valley.
