Texas Rangers roving instructor and scout Donzell McDonald II and Tucson-area high school and club team coach Antonio Fernandez will be conducting tryouts on Sunday Aug. 6 at the Pima Community College baseball field for the Texas Rangers High School scout team. Tryouts begin at 9 a.m. and the cost is only $20.
If you are selected, it will be FREE for approximately 11 weeks in the fall as they play 2-3 tournaments and area junior colleges. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. Open to any current freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.
Tournaments will be at 17/18U level
