GOLF: Jonathan Walters & Alexandra Quihuis are top-ranked heading into playoffs

The state championships for golf are less than two weeks away and lots can happen before the first golfer tees off on Monday, Oct. 23.

Tuesday, Oct. 17 was the last day a D-II team can practice at the OMNI Tucson National and that was also the last day for qualifying.

Saturday, Oct. 21 is the last day a D-I team can practice at the OMNI Tucson National and Oct. 24 is the last day for qualifying.

As of today (10/18) Canyon del Oro standout Jonathan Walters is the top-ranked boy regardless of division classification (IWR -3.129) and Salpointe’s Alexandra Quihuis (-0.962) is the top-ranked girl in Division II. Quihuis is third overall.
