The John R. Wooden® presented by Wendy’s® announced its Preseason Top 50 today and Arizona was one of just two teams with three players on the list. Duke was the other.
Arizona’s entries were: Allonzo Trier, Deandre Ayton and Rawle Alkins.

Trier is off to a great start, averaging 31 points in two games. Ayton, a freshman center, has been impressive in two starts, coming off a 19-point, 13 rebound game. Alkins, a sophomore, is out with an injured foot.
Arizona resumes its season on Thursday when hosting Cal State Bakersfield.
