Salpointe standout Alexandra Quihuis shot a hole-in-one at the IMG Junior World Championship help in July at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. Quihuis finished 12-over-par in the four-round event with her shot coming on the 12th hole in the third round.
The Salpointe senior is slated to compete at the Mary Cave Cup taking place this week on the Oak Glen Course of the Sycuan Resort in San Diego. Salpointe’s first team match is scheduled for Aug. 20 against Amphitheater.
