Javier Escalante, Ruben Villaescusa & Nick Warren do well at USA Baseball 14U NTIS

Javier Escalante (Flowing Wells), Ruben Villaescusa (Tucson) and Nick Warren (Ironwood Ridge) took part in the USA Baseball 14U National Team Identification Series (NTIS) this past week in North Carolina. The local standouts are part of the Southwest squad and they finished 2-2.

Villaescusa finished 4-for-8 with a home run and 2 RBI and 3 strikeouts from the mound, Warren picked up 2 hits and 2 RBI and Escalante picked up 4 strikeouts, an RBI and a hit.
