Longtime Ironwood Ridge volleyball coach Bill Lang quietly set the new combined career win total last Thursday night. The sweep over Sunnyside gave Lang 674 career wins with 456 coming from the girl’s side, which is also a Southern Arizona record. His career match total of 1,043 is also a record. Former Salpointe coach Amy Johnson has the boy’s win record with 347 and current Salpointe coach Heather Moore-Martin has four state titles.
