Former Catalina Foothills golfer Reece Nilsen (Rocky Mountain) was named Third Team All-American by the NAIA this past weekend.
Nilsen ended the season ranked 40th among NAIA golfers with a scoring average of 73.19. Nilsen finished the 2019 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship individually in 44th at 18-over-par 302.
This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to achieve either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level.
