Former Sunnyside standout Roman Bravo-Young will face Kevin Sotelo Linares of Peru at the Junior Pan Am Championships on Friday.

Cadet World Team Trials

Akron, Ohio: May 29-June 2

Sunnyside senior Jesse Ybarra took second to Robert Howard of New Jersey at the Cadet World Team Trials last week in the 55 kg (121 lb) division. Ybarra was 5-0 heading into the final, including a win over the top-seeded Nic Bouzakis of Florida, but Howard was able to win twice in the best-of-3 format.

Howard is a Penn State commit and Ybarra committed to Iowa.
