July 22-28: Sacramento

Members of the Tucson Elite Athletic Club ran an amazing 40.96 to win the 17-18 4×100 Relay today at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships taking place in Sacramento.

Trayvion White-Austin (Sahuaro), Octavius Thomas (Tucson), Eric Fike (Flowing Wells) and Johnnie Blockburger (Tucson) cut down on their time of 42.38 they ran at the state championships in June and the 42.36 the team ran at the Region 10 Championships three weeks ago.

Sunday could be another big day for Southern Arizona with sprints, hurdles, mid distance and field events on tap.
