Walden Grove brothers Alex & Jordan Lopez named APS Digital/Tucson Conquistadores Players of the Week

Walden Grove senior quarterback Alex Lopez threw for 335 yards and picked up three TDs to help defeat Glendale 49-6 last Friday. His brother, Jordan Lopez, caught seven passes for 157 yards with two TDs and he came up with two interceptions, including a 75-yard return for another TD.

The Lopez brothers will receive their awards from APS Digital Print and the Tucson Conquistadors this week and will be guests at the AllSportsTucson.com High School Sports Show at Wings over Broadway at Camino Seco on Thursday night.

All awards are leading up to the Frog & Firkin Fall All-Stars celebration scheduled for December.
