Ironwood Ridge senior running back Brandon Barrios, who rushed for a career-high 313 yards in a 35-9 win at Nogales last week, was presented the APS Digital/Tucson Conquistadores Player of the Week banners and plaque today at practice.
Barrios has been a key part in Ironwood Ridge (3-3 overall, 1-0 in the 5A Southern) winning its last two games, gaining a combined 481 yards against Desert View and Nogales.
He has 808 yards rushing on 135 carries this season, his second at the varsity level.

Ironwood Ridge travels to Marana (0-6, 0-1) on Friday night.
The Nighthawks are in their first season under coach James Hardy.
