Buena QB Jovoni Borbon breaks 5,000 career passing mark

Buena senior QB Jovoni Borbon became the ninth player in Southern Arizona history to throw for more than 5,000 yards in a career when he collected 193 yards at Cienega last Friday night.

Former Catalina Foothills and current University of Arizona QB Rhett Rodriguez sits comfortably on top of the list for Southern Arizona with 8,694 career passing yards. Former Pinnacle standout Spencer Rattler graduated in 2018 with 11,083 career passing yards to lead the state of Arizona
