Amphi High School Spirit Cup:Saturday, Oct. 26

About three dozen high school programs from Arizona took part in the Spirit Cup held at Amphitheater High School on Saturday. The University of Arizona Pomline, University of Arizona Competitive Cheer and the Sun Devil Stunt also made an appearance.

The various state qualifiers will be held on Nov. 2, 9 and 23 with Gameday Finals slated for Saturday, Dec. 7 at ASU between football championship games and all other competition finals taking place on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
