FALL PLAYOFF SCHEDULE
No. 4 Bisbee beat No. 5 St. Johns 7-2 to advance to the 2A Soccer semifinal round scheduled for this Friday against No. 1 Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge eliminated No. 8 Willcox 8-0 in the other quarterfinal match involving playoff teams from Southern Arizona.
No. 12 Cienega, No. 13 Marana, No. 14 Empire, No. 17 Rincon/UHS and No. 23 Buena all qualified for the 5A volleyball Play-In Tournament taking place Thursday night. Ironwood Ridge earned a bye and will host a first-round opponent on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
No. 13 Canyon del Oro, No. 15 Walden Grove and No. 17 Catalina Foothills qualified for the 4A Play-In Tournament on Thursday night. Salpointe will host a first-round match on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Tucson High golf standout Angelica Martinez will tee off on the first hole of the Sonoran Course at the Omni on Monday, Nov. 4 at 11:20 a.m. The tee times for the boys have not been released.
