No. 6 Salpointe and No. 8 Catalina Foothills played to a 0-0 tie Tuesday night to make for an interesting dynamic in the 4A Kino Region race heading into the state playoffs.
Salpointe is now 2-0-2 in region play while Catalina Foothills is 3-0-1. The other tie by the Lancers came against No. 3 Sahuaro and the Cougars are 3-0-1 in region play. The Lancers have been eliminated from the region race…maybe….

Tucson High boys won the 6A Metro Region.
Mountain View boys won the 5A Sonoran Region.
Douglas boys won the 4A Gila Region.
Salpointe boys won the 4A Kino Region.
Sahuarita boys won the 3A South Region.
Cienega girls has at least a tie for the 5A Southern Region
Walden Grove girls won the 4A Gila Region.
Sahuarita girls won the 3A South Region.
SOUTHERN ARIZONA BASKETBALL REGION CHAMPIONS
St. Augustine boys have at least a tie for the 2A South Region.
The Gregory School boys won the 1A South Region.
Buena girls won the 5A Southern Region.
Bisbee girls won the 2A East Region.
St. David girls won the 1A South Region.
