Keira Perkins comes to Tucson High with coaching experience at Catalina Foothills, Flowing Wells and Mountain View, along with club experience with the Club Cactus organization. She will replace Amanda Larriva this fall with Larriva concentrating on boys volleyball in the spring.
“My experience as a coach is driven by my love for the game and helping the athletes who play,” Perkins said in a note to the Tucson High players.
The Badgers compete in the 6A Desert Southwest Region along with Rincon/University, Maricopa and three teams from the Yuma area. The season was to begin on Sept. 1 but COVID-19 concerns might push the season back.
