Tanque Verde announced the hiring of former Sahuaro standout Adam Shingler to head up the school’s volleyball program. Shingler, a member of the All-Decade Team under legendary coach Sandy Novak, began coaching the Cougars right out of high school and he took over the head varsity position in 2017.

Shingler is also well known on the club scene, having coached in the Zona Volleyball Club since 2013. He replaced former Sahuaro and University of Arizona standout Michelle Malis. Malis led Tanque Verde since 2015. Shingler teaches World and US history at Tanque Verde.
