Arizona’s 2020 schedule, delayed and altered to only seven games because of COVID-19, was released this morning and the Wildcats open with a game at Utah on Nov. 7.
The Wildcats’ and Pac-12 schedule:
The Wildcats follow their game at Utah hosting USC on the weekend of Nov. 13-14 before playing at Washington (Nov. 20-21) and UCLA (Nov. 27-28). Arizona ends its season with home games against Colorado (Dec. 4-5) and ASU on Dec. 11 (a Friday).
Missing on Arizona’s schedule as of now is Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State. The Wildcats could play one of them in the final game of the season (Dec. 18-19) depending on where they finish in the Pac-12 South in correlation with their North division counterpart.
This will be Kevin Sumlin’s third season. He is 9-15 after his first two seasons. He went 5-7 his first season and 4-8 last year. Only two coaches in Arizona history have started their first three seasons with losing records — Bob Weber (1969 to 1971) and John Mackovic (2001 to 2003).
