The pipeline to New Mexico State continues with the commitment of former Flowing Wells, Paradise Valley and current Pima pitcher Noah Estrella.
Estrella picked up two wins with 24 strikeouts in 29 innings of work for Paradise Valley before the season was cut short. He will pitch for Pima this spring.
Former Sahuarita standout Chris Barraza and Nogales standout Kevin Jimenez will be juniors for the Aggies this year. In addition, Sahuarita pitcher Ian Mejia transferred from Pima to New Mexico State. Sabino standouts Joey Parker and Jacob Wiltshire will be Aggies in 2021. Nogales junior standouts Demetrio Crisantes and Saul Soto have also committed to play for New Mexico State as did Canyon del Oro standout Marcus Delgado, Nogales senior Matthew Bachelier and Salpointe standout Jack Rogers.
The Aggies compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and former Nogales standout Keith Zuniga is an assistant coach.
