Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month: St. Augustine prolific scorer Thomas Reyna

St. Augustine Catholic High School senior guard Thomas Reyna established himself as one of the top five scorers in the state averaging 26.9 points a game in February.

His accomplishment merit him the Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month honor.

His career scoring total reached 1,729 points in the month. His brother Andrew Reyna finished his career with 1,948 career points in 2018. Andrew’s total ranks ninth in the state’s history.

Thomas’ team went into March 10-5 overall and 3-2 in the 2A South.

Thomas also averages 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game.

He had games of 36 points (against The Gregory School) on Feb. 16, 34 points (against Tombstone) on Feb. 24 and three games with 33 points in February.

His career scoring average is 18.0 points with 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game.
