It will collaborate on schedules with the Phoenix-based National Youth Sports. The TYFSF and NYS will schedule games in the preseason and regular season and compete in a postseason tournament.

“From the greater Phoenix area through Maricopa, Casa Grande, Coolidge and greater Tucson and Southern Arizona area, there will be some great youth football and cheer competitions on display this fall,” the release states.
The TYFSF, established in 1969, will include these Southern Arizona teams this fall: Vail Vikings, Tucson Jaguars, Tucson Wildcats, Tucson Jaguars, Tucson Redskins, Sierra Vista Wolverines, Oro Valley Dolphins, Tucson Raiders, Santa Cruz Cardinals, Tucson Steelers, Tucson Thunder and Vail Vikings.
