13U and 14U standouts from the Tucson Youth Football & Spirit Federation (TYFSF) and the Sonoran Desert Youth Football (SDAYF) Conference held an All-Star game Saturday afternoon at Sunnyside High School. In all, about 70 players suited up with former Sunnyside head coach Richard Sanchez coaching the Blue squad and former University of Arizona standout Bam McRae coaching the Red team.

Playing under a high school clock situation, the Red team held on for a 12-6 victory with both coaches hoping for more practice time next year to get more plays and situations into the game. Former Arizona head coach and current president of the National Football Foundation Southern Arizona Chapter was on hand as were hundreds of fans.
