Willcox Sr. Ote Allsup (17-0) pinned Jesse Green (13-6) of Thatcher for his championship at 160. Santa Cruz won back-to-back title in 2019 and 2020 but the team took sixth place this year despite losing multiple players to transfer and sever COVID issues that took the life of head coach Ray Belloc’s father. Belloc was also hospitalized and he reports in better health after several months of breathing difficulty.
