The teams, who traditionally have played in different classifications and regions, face each other Oct. 15 at Desert View. … Desert View plays Sunnyside in the Duel in the District on Sept. 3. The Jaguars have won three of the last four meetings with the Blue Devils after losing seven straight dating to 1990. … Secondary coach Marcus Benjamin is a former Arizona cornerback who played for Mike Stoops in 2009 and 2010.
