Both schools started playing in 2002 but this is the first meeting between the programs

5A Verrado (1-0) at 5A Desert View (1-0)
The first meeting between the two schools.

5A Sunnyside (0-1) at 5A South Mountain (0-1)
Sunnyside leads the series 2-1 since 1995 with a playoff victory coming in the last meeting in 2008.

5A Cienega (0-1) at 5A Buena (1-0)
Cienega holds a 10-1 advantage over Buena dating back to 2009 with the Colts only victory being a massive 63-60 win in 2013.

5A Flowing Wells (0-1) at 5A Willow Canyon (0-1)
This will be the first meeting between the two programs.

5A Marana (1-0) at 4A Tempe (0-0)
Marana beat Tempe in 2015 in the only meeting between the two programs.

5A Cholla (1-0) at 4A Vista Grande (0-0)
The teams are even at 1-10 since 2018.

4A Rio Rico (0-0) at 5A Nogales (0-0)
Nogales is 12-0 against Rio Rico dating back to 1997.

4A Pueblo (0-0) at 5A Rincon/UHS (0-1)
Pueblo leads Rincon/UHS 26-13 dating back to 1960. The Rangers last won in 2006.

4A Apache Junction (1-0) at 4A Canyon del Oro (0-1)
The Dorados have four straight wins from 2016 to 2019.

4A Sahuaro (0-0) at 4A Arcadia (0-1)
Sahuaro leads Arcadia 1-0 with the victory coming during the 1993 playoff run for Howard Breinig.

4A Walden Grove (0-1) at 4A Catalina Foothills (0-1)
Catalina Foothills holds a 3-1 advantage dating back to 2013.

4A Empire (1-0) at 3A Safford (2-0)
Empire leads 5-2 but the teams haven’t met since 2012.

3A ALA Gilbert North (2-0) at 3A Sabino (2-0)
This will be the first meeting for both programs.

3A Sahuarita (0-2) at 4A Amphitheater (1-0)
Sahuarita holds a slim 7-6 advantage over Amphitheater dating back to 2007.

3A Pusch Ridge (2-0) at 3A Eastmark (1-1)
Pusch Ridge beat Eastmark 4-16 last year in the only meeting between the programs.

2A Bisbee (2-0) at 4A Douglas (0-0)
One of the biggest rivalries in high school football with Douglas holding a 79-64-8 lead over Bisbee dating back to 1906. The teams played each other multiple times every year until 1955. The only years the team did not play were 1918 (flu), 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 2020 (COVID). Bisbee beat Douglas 7-6 at Don Luis Park in 1906 on a 55-yard run, fumble and recover from Blair to make it 5-0. (TDs were 5 points). Rice scored from 6-yard out and he made the kick to put Douglas up 6-5. Rice fumbled in his own end zone near the end of the game and he was tackled for a safety to give Bisbee the 7-6 win and the ‘Copper Pick” trophy started in 1944.

Santa Cruz beat the Knights 43-37 last year in the only meeting of the schools.

2A Willcox (2-0) at 3A San Tan Foothills (0-2)
This will be the first meeting for the schools.

2A Benson (0-1) at 2A Tanque Verde (1-1)

2A Miami (0-2) at 2A Catalina (0-2)
Te first meeting between the two schools.

2A Santa Rita (0-1) at 2A Scottsdale Prep (1-0)
The first meeting between the two schools.

1A St. David (2-0) at 1A Duncan (1-2)
Duncan leads 8-6 dating back to 1937.

1A San Manuel (2-0) at 1A Superior (0-3)
The schools started playing each other in 1956 and the last game was in 2008.

1A Baboquivari (0-0) at 1A Fort Thomas (1-0)
The programs are 2-2 since 2015.
