Kent Middleton’s team rebounded from a loss at Sabino with the win and now they must prepare for another 3A South juggernaut — Thatcher (6-2, 2-0) — for a game at home Friday night. A win will keep Pusch Ridge in play for a 3A South title; a loss would allow Thatcher to be in a commanding position.
