Arizona sophomore Bennedict Mathurin has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week.
It’s his third Player of the Week honors this season.
He averaged 22 points on 48 percent shooting in wins over Oregon State and Oregon last week. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
He’s had four consecutive 20-point games for the 24-2 Arizona Wildcats.
It’s Arizona’s fifth Player of the Week honor this season, matching the most ever for the Wildcats in a season (2000-01, 1992-93 and 1987-88).
