The late Julius Holt, a standout defensive tackle/linebacker at Arizona in 1981 and 1982, will be honored at Arizona Stadium at 11 a.m. before the Wildcats’ annual Spring Game at Arizona Stadium.
The Spring Game is scheduled to start at noon.
Holt, who passed away Monday from an illness at age 60, was a coach and administrator with Tucson Youth Football & Spirit Federation over the last 30 years. He was the TYFSF president from 2013 through last season.
He was an academic counselor for Arizona athletes when he started coaching in TYFSF in the 1990s.
TYFSF posted an announcement on social media urging its organizations to attend the event at 11 a.m.
