Pima dropped a four-set match to Mesa Wednesday night to fall to 3-9 overall and 0-2 in ACCAC play. The Aztecs took the first set 25-19 but Mesa went on to win the last three sets 30-28, 25-14 and 25-21.
Former Walden Grove standout Haley Duncan finished with 9 kills, Deanna Almaguer and former Canyon del Oro standout Sasha Ross added five kills and five digs each. Former Dorado Morgan Hains collected 21 digs and sophomore Isabella Jacome posted 26 assists and six digs.
The Aztecs will return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium this Friday when they host Phoenix College. The match begins at 7 p.m.
