Jessie Niegocki (Rider)

Former Mountain View standout Jessie Niegocki (Rider University) was named one of the top 15 two-way players in the country by Extra Innings Softball.

Former Salpointe standout Dillan Baker averaged 19 points and 3.67 rebounds to help the Pima Aztecs go undefeated in the Pima Classic Holiday Tournament which led to Baker earning ACCAC Player of the Week honors.

Former Salpointe standout Yannira Acuña (ASU) was named No. 19 on the D1Softball Top 100.

Former Ironwood Ridge standout Allie Skaggs (Arizona) was named No. 22 on the D1Softball Top 100.

Former Tucson standout Carlie Scupin (Arizona) was named No. 44 on the D1Softaball Top 100.

Former Canyon del Oro standout Ellessa Bonstrom (Utah) was named No. 56 on the D1Softaball Top 100.

This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to achieve either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level. These are not high school awards but collegiate and professional recognitions. NOT CHAMPIONSHIPS.
