Hi Wildcat Fans!

This weekend is Senior Weekend and it will be such a bittersweet moment for myself, Breezy Hardy and Ali Ashner. The three of us will be celebrated on Sunday and there are so many emotions that come with a weekend like this. Last weekend, we won the series against Oregon State, which helps us as a team for the Pac-12 tournament and for postseason. This weekend, is just as important against Cal and we are set on continuing this winning streak throughout the weekend and into the tournament.

My goals as a kid were to play softball for the University of Arizona, get a degree, and be the best teammate/person I could be. I am finishing up my 5th year here, I have gone to the WCWS 3 times, graduated and got my degree in Elementary Education, and have truly left my mark on this program. I took my first steps on campus and I told myself that no matter what, I would do whatever this program needed. Each year I have bought into my role and gave it everything I had. My first few years, I didn’t play a lot, but I knew that I could bring the energy that our team needed to be successful. I worked hard at practice and when it was gametime, I rallied my team by being the goofiest and loudest person in the dugout. Last year I found myself in a role where I was playing third base and hitting in the 4-hole, so I did my best each and every day in that role. I competed in some of the biggest moments of my career and stepped up as a leader on the team.

This year, has been the biggest rollercoaster, but I set out to do everything wholeheartedly. That’s just the way I live life, with everything I have and constantly looking at how I can help those around me. I am proud of my career here at UArizona and couldn’t be more thankful for this program. Our season isn’t even close to being over after this weekend, we have a lot of games left, but I wanted to take time to reflect on my career here. Each person that has come into my life, whether it was for a brief moment or for all five years, has made an impact on my success and I am so grateful for each person. I have met some pretty incredible people through this program, fans, staff, other athletes, and so many others that I plan to stay in contact with even after my career is over.
