It is Title Tuesday in District 5 and 12 softball and baseball with five championship-round games taking place, including four in District 5:
— 8-10 baseball between Continental Ranch and CDO at 6:30 p.m. at Crossroads Park. Continental Ranch needs a win to advance to the state tournament at Purple Heart Park starting July 15. If CDO wins, a deciding game will be played Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Crossroads.
— 9-11 baseball between Canyon View and Tucson Mountain at 6:30 p.m. at Mehl Park. If Canyon View wins, it goes to the state tournament at Sierra Vista starting July 10. A Tucson Mountain victory forces a deciding game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Mehl.
— Little League baseball between Canyon View and Marana at Arthur Pack at 6:30 p.m. A Canyon View victory places it in the state tournament at Flagstaff starting July 17. If Canyon View loses, a deciding game with Marana will be Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Arthur Pack.
— Little League softball between Marana and Continental Ranch at Ora Mae Park at 5 p.m. If Marana wins, it advances to the state tournament at Valley Verde beginning July 5. If Continental Ranch wins, the teams will play a deciding game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ora Mae.
The Little League softball teams of Copper Hills and Sunnyside will play at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the championship round at Lawrence Park. If Copper Hills wins, it will also move on to the state tournament at Valley Verde. If Sunnyside wins, the teams will have a deciding game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Lawrence.
Marana’s Little League softball team continued to roll in the District 5 tournament with a 15-0 win in three innings over Continental Ranch on Monday at Ora Mae Park. Marana outscored Thornydale and Continental Ranch by a combined 25-0 in its two wins to reach the championship round.

Marana pitcher Adella Rose Foxhoven allowed one hit with six strikeouts and a walk against Continental Ranch after limiting Thornydale to one hit with seven strikeouts and a walk last week against.
She also went 3 for 3 with three runs, a double and an RBI at the plate against Continental Ranch after going 2 for 3 with a run, triple and two RBIs against Thornydale.
Makenzi Sledge, daughter of coach Kris Sledge, also went 3 for 3 with two runs, a double and three RBIs against Continental Ranch.

Marana tallied 14 hits with Foxhoven, Sledge, Addison Harvey and Addison Gallion producing multiple hits. Harvey and Gallion each went 2 for 2. Gallion had an RBI double.
Kaidence Ramirez also produced a two-run double.
Alana Lopez recorded Continental Ranch’s lone hit with a single to lead off the game.
