AllSportsTucson.com is listing 50 of the top seniors in Southern Arizona during this stretch. This is not a ranking. This is a list in alphabetical order. We acknowledge more than 50 quality seniors will play on high school fields locally this fall and we will report on them accordingly.
Luis Cordova, 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds, is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports who holds a scholarship offer from Arizona while also getting interest from Cal, San Jose State, Stanford and UCLA. He has taken trips to Louisville and Notre Dame as well. … Cordova was part of a four-player group from Southern Arizona that played in the National 8th Grade All-Star Game in Orlando in 2019. He joined CDO seniors Sa’Kylee Woodard and Kayden Luke and Sabino senior Savaughn Berryhill in that game. … Cordova carries a 3.87 GPA. … In the last month, Cordova has taken part in camps at Arizona, USC, NAU, Notre Dame, West Point and Southern Utah. … Salpointe coach Eric Rogers has stated that he will use Cordova more as a defensive tackle this season between ends Elijah Rushing and Keona Wilhite to give the Lancers more of a threat in the middle. Cordova has played mostly as an offensive tackle his first three varsity seasons. … “My game is really violent, and I’m very hard working,” Cordova told Sports360AZ.com. “I keep on my mind on the gold. I’m a versatile lineman, and I can do the work. What do you need me to do? I can do it.”
