CDO lost to Lake Havasu in an 8-10 elimination game late Thursday night. CDO led 4-2 after two innings and that lead held up until the top of the sixth where Lake Havasu scored two earned runs and five unearned to take a 9-4 lead. The team from Kriegh Park battled back in the bottom of the sixth with Logan D’Amore coming through with a leadoff single, followed by an error to put Patrick Picton on. Eli Hammett knocked in D’Amore to cut the lead down to 9-5 and then Oliver Shawver reached on an infield bunt to load the bases.

Lake Havasu picked up two strikeouts but Boaz Chop followed that setback with a bases-clearing triple to cut the lead down to 9-8. Lake Havasu held on with one final strikeout to stay alive in the tournament.
