Rincon 15, Arcadia 0
Rincon defeated Arcadia 15-0 in three innings Friday to reach the championship round of the 8-10 state tournament at Purple Heart Park. Rincon will play Monday at 6:30 p.m. against an opponent to be determined (will be either Arcadia, Deer Valley or Ahwatukee). Hunter Russell did not allow a hit in the three-inning game against Arcadia on Friday. Braxton Sapp went 3 for 3 with a double, two triples and six RBIs and Zane Brinkley went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs to lead Rincon at the plate. Russell, Dom Hainley, Gavin Allisin and Grant Barnes also drove in runs.
