The 2023 version of the Lute Olson Fantasy Camp started Thursday night with former Olson players, and current University of Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd, welcoming the campers with personal stories of Olson and the Wildcat program. Olson’s wife, Kelly Olson, was also on hand to welcome all and Ryan Hansen was the emcee for the opening ceremonies held at the La Paloma Country Club.
Former Arizona players in attendance Thursday night included Pete Williams, Eddie Smith, Joe Turner, Craig McMillan, Harvey Thompson, Mohamed Tangara, Bennett Davison, Donnell Harris and Andy Brown. The camp runs through Sunday.
