Marana’s inaugural flag football season is a successful one with the Tigers going 7-0 in September.
A major reason for the dominance is sophomore quarterback Roxi Singer, who was responsible for Marana’s touchdown passes when her team outscored opponents 141-25 in the month.
For her performance, Singer is the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month for September.
Marana improved to 8-0 on Monday with its 22-0 win over rival Mountain View. The Tigers play at Mesa Dobson (5-3) on Tuesday.
