Baja Arizona Notes: Mark Stevens set to coach Tanque Verde softball with former Arizona standout Izzy Pacho and Sabino grad Tracey Lisacki; Kealey Myhre to play softball for Embry-Riddle

Former Catalina Foothills championship softball coach Mark Stevens has moved over to Tanque Verde and he’s added former Ironwood Ridge and University of Arizona standout Izzy Pacho to his staff along with from Sabino player Tracey Rodriguez Lisacki.

Stevens guided the Falcons to the Division III state title in 2016, the same year Pacho won the D-II championship under Rich Alday at Ironwood Ridge before heading out to play for the Wildcats. Lisacki played golf and softball at Sabino and she is currently teaching at Tanque Verde and she was the president of Tanque Verde Fastpitch for the last two years.

Tanque Verde competes in the 3A South Region and the team made it to the semifinal round in 2021 and the quarterfinal round in 2022 and 2023.

Sahuarita infielder Kealey Myhre announced her commitment to play for Embry-Riddle.

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to continue my academic and athletic career,” Myhre announced. “Thank you Coach (Nicole) Hennessey for this amazing opportunity. I would also like to thank the coaches, family, and friends who have supported me throughout my softball career.”
