Rincon/University junior cross country runner Amelia North was the highest Southern Arizona finisher in Saturday’s AIA state meet at the 5,000-meter course at the Cave Creek Golf Course, placing 10th with a personal-best time of 19:20.57.

She placed first in the AIA-Sectional last week in a time of 19:25.7 at the 5,000-meter course at Crossroads Park.
