Sahuaro senior forward Cassie Coolidge nearly outscored host Marana on her own Wednesday night, tallying 19 points in the 62-20 win, and while doing so, she reached 1,000 career points.
Coolidge, who has experienced significant playing time since she was a freshman, is averaging 23 points a game in Sahuaro’s 5-0 start to the season.
She also had seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and a blocked shot in the victory over Marana.
